Core Values

We feel these core values defined the early church, as seen in Acts 2:42-47.

Worship
Passionately entering God’s presence to proclaim his greatness and listen to his voice.
Psalm 100; Psalm 42:1-2; Hebrews 10:19-25, 12:28.

Prayer
Being utterly dependent on God, coming to him to praise him and present requests to him.
Matthew 6:5-13; Philippians 4:4-7.

The Word
Individually and as a church family, basing our lives and ministry on the Bible, which God has graciously revealed to us.
Psalm 119:9-11, 105; Matthew 4:4; II Timothy 3:16-4:2.

Fellowship
With God: Walking closely with God, obeying him and delighting in him.
I John 1:3-9; Proverbs 3:5-6; John 15:4-11.

With each other: Being a part of each other’s lives, loving each other and encouraging each other to pursue God by faith.
Hebrews 3:12-13, 10:24-25; I John 4:7-12; John 13:34-35.

Evangelism
Proclaiming the truth of the Gospel, with grace, so that others might gain eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:18-20; Colossians 4:2-6; Philemon 1:6.

Service
Everyone using their spiritual gifts to build up the body.
Romans 12:4-8; I Corinthians 12:4-11; Ephesians 4:11-13.

Looking for ways to serve our community.
Matthew 5:13-16; Ephesians 2:10.
